Green Intermediate School
Green Intermediate School was built in 1956 and was originally Green High School. In it's first year, the school held 540 high school students. In 1963, an addition was added onto the building.
Once the current high school building was constructed and opened in 1996, the old high school became Green Intermediate School and served grades 4th through 6th.
In April of 2023, the Board of Education approved an architectural agreement with Sol Harris/Day Architecture, Inc. that included renovations to Green Primary School, construction of a new elementary school, construction of a new middle school, and demolition of Greenwood Early Learning Center, Green Intermediate School, and the existing Green Middle School.
In April of 2025, former students were invited to take one last walk through of the building by the Green Alumni Association. In June of 2025, Green Intermediate School was torn down.
