Green Middle School
Green Middle School was originally constructed in 1969 and taught grades seven and eight until the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
In April of 2023, the Board of Education approved an architectural agreement with Sol Harris/Day Architecture, Inc. that included renovations to Green Primary School, construction of a new elementary school, construction of a new middle school for 6th through 8th grade, and demolition of Greenwood Early Learning Center, Green Intermediate School, and the existing Green Middle School.
In August of 2023, construction of the new middle school began. The old Green Middle School was torn down in June of 2025, and the new Green Middle School opened for the start of the 2025-2026 school year.
The new Green Middle School includes the CORE, which is the City of Green's Center of Recreation and Education.
