Digital Cemetery Mapping

The Green Historical Society would like to create a online plot map of the cemeteries of Green, starting with Greensburg Cemetery.  Our cemeteries are very well cared for in Green and are in excellent condition.  However, some of our oldest graves are not clearly marked, either because markers were never placed or markers have broken or are now covered by earth and grass.  A digital GIS plot map of the cemetery will ensure that moving forward burial locations are permanently recorded and searchable worldwide via the Internet.

Historic Images of Green on Google Earth

Ever see an old photograph of Green and wonder "Now where was that?"  Well, wonder no more.  GHS has begun storing historic images of the past and present in Google Earth.  Users searching locations in Green on Google Earth will be able to view these photographs at the actual location of the subject of te photographs.
