Lichtenwalter Schoolhouse
Lichtenwalter Schoolhouse is open to the public every Sunday from noon to 2 pm from April through November. The schoolhouse is also open to the public during all City of Green festivals in Boettler and Southgate Parks including FreedomFest, Art-a-Palooza, and Twisted Wilderfest.
Lichtenwalter Schoolhouse is a restored one-room schoolhouse used to teach elementary students about life in rural Green in the 1880's. The basement of Lichtenwalter Schoolhouse is a local history museum and houses the archives of the Green Historical Society.
